Try to place them near the first or second corner.

You cannot place towers directly near the start of the map.

This is recommended to maximize a tower's range.

You can actually stack ground towers near the man-made craters.

The mound with a flaming vehicle on it at the beginning of the map is a great place to place Ace Pilots and Pursuits.

The grass mound near the start of the map is the optimal place to put down Rangers and Mortars.

For this reason, cliff towers are highly recommended on this map.

There are a lot of cliff spots on this map.

It weaves around the natural structures of the map, as well as going over the river at a slightly inclined cobblestone bridge. The brown pebble path begins at a portal and ends at a cave. A river runs through the middle of the map in a canyon. Various natural mounds and arches can also be seen. Inside the gorge is a wasteland, with bare trees, debris, and objects that are rusted or broken (like walls, howitzer cannons and vehicles) littered around the map. Wrecked Battlefield appears to take place in a gorge, surrounded by high rocky walls. It does not appear in regular map rotation. Wrecked Battlefield is a Hardcore exclusive map that appears to take place after a disaster or a defeat.
